Adriann Wycoff

Adriann Wycoff, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Chicana/o Studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She also holds a courtesy appointment as an Associate Professor in Women’s Studies. Wycoff serves as Director of the MSU Denver Family Literacy Program and Co-Principal Investigator of the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), addressing educational disparities through community-based initiatives.

• Education: B.A. in Spanish from the University of Illinois at Chicago, M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish from Northwestern University.

Her research focuses on bilingual education (Spanish), migrant and immigrant student support, family literacy, and non-traditional educational models. She emphasizes solutions for K–3 literacy struggles in Colorado, holistic support systems for migrant students, and policy challenges faced by Dreamers under DACA. Her work intersects with Latino literature, teacher education, and gender studies, particularly examining women’s experiences in poverty.

Wycoff’s career spans over 30 years in program administration, curriculum development, and grant writing, with expertise in community outreach and public relations. She collaborates with initiatives like CAMP to dismantle academic, social, and financial barriers for marginalized students.
