Adriana Z. Robertson is the Donald N. Pritzker Professor of Business Law at the University of Chicago Law School, specializing in the intersection of law and finance. She holds a BA from the University of Toronto (Trinity College), a PhD in Finance from the Yale School of Management, and a JD from Yale Law School. Her research focuses on securities law, capital markets regulation, corporate finance, and ESG investing. Prior roles include the Honourable Justice Frank Iacobucci Chair at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and visiting professorships at NYU and Yale Law Schools.
Her work has been featured in major outlets like the New York Times and Financial Times. Key research areas include ESG fund accountability, regulatory timing, and shareholder voting dynamics. Robertson serves as an editor of the Journal of Legal Studies and is a research member at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
