Adriana Ramirez

Adriana Ramirez, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery (Endocrine) at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in endocrine surgery with a focus on thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal tumors. She is affiliated with the Yale Institute for Global Health and the Center for Endocrine Tumors at Smilow Cancer Hospital. Dr. Ramirez’s research addresses health disparities and equitable access to surgical care, particularly in vulnerable populations. She completed her MD at the Medical University of South Carolina, a general surgery residency and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Virginia, and an MPH at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
