Adrian Scruton is an Associate Professor at Anglia Ruskin University's Faculty of Science and Engineering, specializing in Psychology, Sport and Sensory Science. As course leader for sport and exercise science programs, he teaches exercise physiology, exercise testing, and sport nutrition modules.

- Mechanisms of VO2max plateau
- Physiological factors affecting anaerobic capacity in cycling

Recent publications demonstrate strong focus on VO2max dynamics, with 5/7 articles from 2011-2014 examining plateau phenomena through diverse methodologies. Other works span menstrual cycle effects on strength metrics and lactate threshold analysis in youth athletes.
