Adrian Paul Iliescu

Adrian Paul Iliescu is a Full Tenured Professor at the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Philosophy, with a career spanning over three decades. He holds a PhD in Philosophy (University of Bucharest, 1983) and has supervised doctoral students since 1997.

Academic Leadership includes founding the Center for Applied Philosophy (1993–2001) and directing DIRESS (Research Center for Intergenerational Justice, Social Responsibility, and Sustainability) since 2013. He has held editorial roles and served on national academic accreditation bodies.
