Adrian Muxworthy

Professor Adrian Muxworthy heads the Natural Magnetism Group at Imperial College London's Department of Earth Science and Engineering. He holds visiting positions at UCL and University of Edinburgh, with prior postdoctoral experience at GFZ Potsdam, University of Toronto, and LMU Munich. His D.Phil is from the University of Oxford.

Research Focus: Muxworthy's work spans paleomagnetism, rock magnetism, and planetary geomagnetism, with applications in geological interpretation and environmental reconstruction. Key methodologies include microscopy, FORC analysis, and magnetic mineral characterization.
