Adrian Keevil is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, specializing in teaching First Year Strategy. His research focuses on Behavioral Stakeholder Theory, analyzing stakeholder behaviors and their impacts on firm performance. He also explores financial distress, distressed investing, corporate governance, and business ethics.
- Education: B.A. from Yale; MBA and Ph.D. from University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
His professional experience includes co-founding PlusTick Partners, a distressed securities hedge fund, where he applies his behavioral stakeholder theory to security analysis and portfolio management. He previously spent a decade in corporate development and private equity.
Active in applied ethics, he serves on the board of trustees for the Music Resource Center and St. Anne’s-Belfield School. His work appears in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference presentations.
