Adrian Fisher

Professor Adrian Fisher is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge, leading the Electrochemical and Micro Engineering research group focused on next-generation (bio)chemical sensor development.

His research integrates:

• Microfabrication of flow-through cells with critical dimensions (height: 10-50 μm, width: 40-200 μm, length: 500+ μm)
• Fluid dynamics and electrochemical methodology for sensor optimization
• Finite element simulations for predicting flow properties and chemical distributions
• Applications in biochemical analysis, electroanalytical chemistry, and modified electrodes
