Aditya Bahl is an Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature and Global Asias at Pennsylvania State University. He holds a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University (2024) and degrees from the University of Delhi and National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. His research bridges literary studies, political economy, and anthropology, focusing on South Asia’s longue durée, particularly Punjab’s Cold War literary movements. Bahl’s current book project, Green, Red: Revolutions and World Literature, examines how Punjabi underground magazines negotiated capitalist crises and global geopolitical shifts. He has authored four poetry chapbooks and contributes to journals like London Review of Books and New Left Review.
