Adele Doran is a researcher and consultant specializing in sustainable outdoor recreation and adventure tourism. She holds roles as Associate Head of the Social and Economic Research Institute and Research & Innovation Lead in the Sheffield Business School at Sheffield Hallam University. Her work focuses on participant experiences, nature connection, responsible recreation, and equity in the outdoor sector. She has extensive experience in project leadership, collaborating with organizations like Natural England and the British Mountaineering Council.
Education includes a PhD, MSc, PGCE PCET, and BA (Hons). Research methods include survey research, ethnography, and social media analysis.
