معرفی
Addison Kemp is Assistant Professor of Clinical Medical Education at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, and Research Associate in Mammalogy at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. As a functional morphologist and biological anthropologist, she studies sensory system evolution in mammals.
Her research examines how visual and vestibular adaptations impact locomotion, foraging, and predation behaviors in primates and their relatives. Dr. Kemp's work with tree shrews provides insights into early primate adaptations through experimental studies of grasping and leaping performance under varying visual conditions. She combines experimental approaches with comparative morphological analyses using micro-CT data.
