Dr. Adam Streeter is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Peninsula Medical School, University of Plymouth, specializing in Medical Statistics. His research focuses on leveraging health records and registry data to optimize therapies and clinical trials. He leads the STOPFlu project, investigating the interaction between statins and influenza vaccines, and collaborates on studies such as ENRICH (ibrutinib therapy), RAW (resection after Whipple surgery), and drug repurposing for Parkinson’s disease. He also contributes statistical expertise to trials like TARS (quit-smoking) and e-CoachER (exercise-referral).
Dr. Streeter teaches Evidence-Based Medicine to undergraduate medical students and supports postgraduate research through statistical mentoring. His work spans drug safety, clinical trial efficiency, and Bayesian methods in cluster-randomized trials. He supervises two PhD projects in compositional data analysis and Bayesian cluster-RCTs, alongside two MD projects linked to the RAW study.
