Adam Sherratt is a Lecturer in Sports Business and Management at the University of South Wales (USW), part of the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education. He serves as Course Leader for the BA Hons Sports Business and Management program and the Year 1 Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development. These blended learning courses are delivered in partnership with the EFL Trust across over 40 football and rugby clubs in England and Wales.
He teaches modules such as Managing Sport, Introduction to Sports Business Principles, and Promotion and Marketing in Sport. Adam has over 11 years of experience in further and higher education, including roles at Preston College, Wigan Athletic Community Trust as Education Manager, and EFL Trust as Higher Education Programme Manager. His community sports background includes coaching and P.E. development, alongside his current role as a Coach Developer with The F.A for the 'Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1)' program.
Adam holds a BA Hons in Physical Education, MA in Leadership in Sport (USW, 2017-2020), PGCE in Further Education (Sport), and an ILM Level 5 Operations and Departmental Management qualification. He is also UEFA C License certified.
