Adam Rule is an Assistant Professor of Information Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Information School. He also holds honorary and affiliate roles in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, the Department of Medicine (Division of General Internal Medicine), and the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics. His research focuses on human-computer interaction, medical informatics, and human-centered data science, particularly in the context of electronic health records (EHRs).

- BS in Industrial Engineering, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2008–2011)
