Adam Melnick, J.D., is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Metropolitan State University of Denver, specializing in entrepreneurship, small business, 'conscious' business, social entrepreneurship, social impact business, sustainable business, and access to funding. He teaches Small Business Entrepreneurship, Organizational Management, Entrepreneurship Feasibility, and Entrepreneurial Business Plan, and is a licensed attorney in Colorado and Pennsylvania.
- Education: Juris Doctorate in Environmental Law from Pace University, Master’s degree from Yale University, and Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Science from Muhlenberg College
As a consultant at the Colorado Small Business Development Centers Network, Rebel Bread, and FMK Agency, Melnick integrates legal and business expertise into his work. He co-founded the Denver Good Business Week, serves as a board member for Blue Star Recyclers, and chairs the CBUS Small Business Development program committee. Prior to joining MSU Denver, he worked as Senior Entrepreneurship Officer and in-house counsel at Colorado Lending Source.
