معرفی
Adam Masters is an Associate Professor in Planetary Science at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Imperial College London. His primary affiliations include the Space Lab, Space and Atmospheric Physics Group, and the Space, Plasma and Climate Community.
His research focuses on energy flow mechanisms through the Solar System via magnetic fields and charged particle motion, alongside investigations into magnetic field generation within planetary interiors. This work is fundamentally supported by active participation in major spacecraft missions including the concluded Cassini-Huygens mission to Saturn and Titan (ended September 2017), the ongoing Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer mission, and high-level planning for future missions to Uranus and Neptune. His expertise spans Planetary Science, Space Plasma Physics, and Magnetospheric Physics with strong emphasis on spacecraft data interpretation.
As a core member of the Space and Atmospheric Physics Group and Space Lab, Dr. Masters contributes to the interdisciplinary objectives of Imperial College London's Space, Plasma and Climate Community, driving collaborative research in solar system dynamics and planetary magnetism.
