Adam Luebke serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Conducting (choral activities) at Bowling Green State University's College of Musical Arts. He is Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus since 2015, leading acclaimed performances described as 'virtuosic' and 'splendid.' In 2020, he won a GRAMMY® for Richard Danielpour's The Passion of Yeshua with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
- Upcoming 2024-25 season highlights: world premiere of Lee Hoiby’s A Whitman Symphony, Handel’s Messiah, and collaborations with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra
- 2023-24 season included preparations for Wynton Marsalis’ All Rise (PBS broadcast), Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9
Education: American Boychoir School, St. Olaf College, Westminster Choir College, Florida State University. Teachers include Anton Armstrong, Joseph Flummerfelt, and James Litton.
Collaborations: Conductors JoAnn Falletta, Gil Rose; composers Richard Danielpour, Paul Moravec; artists Hila Plitmann, Angela Brown, and Broadway’s Liz Calloway.
Notable achievements: Carnegie Hall debut (2023), North American premiere of Carmina Burana with La Fura dels Baus, and performances at David Geffen Hall and the National Cathedral.
