Adam Fromme is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Design at The Ohio State University's College of Arts and Sciences, with a shared appointment in the College of Nursing's Master of Healthcare Innovation program. He holds an MFA in Design Research and Development from Ohio State and a BSD in Visual Communication Design.
His research explores the designer's mindset and its application in value-based decision making, with interests in creativity, play, ambiguity and risk-taking in both professional and public settings. He hosts the "Thinking through Design" podcast examining how designers approach problem-solving.
Professor Fromme teaches primarily in the Design Thinking Minor and studies how individuals, teams and organizations utilize design thinking to improve quality and add value. His service includes chairing the department's Communications and Visual Identity Committee.
