Adam Feld

Adam Feld is an Associate Professor and Industrial Design Program Coordinator in the School of Architecture and Design at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His work bridges pedagogy and industry through sponsored projects, emphasizing user interaction, rapid visualization, and prototyping. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Ohio State University and a Master of Design from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning (DAAP).

His research explores:

• Design Pedagogy: Integrating industry collaboration into curricula.
• Industrial Applications: Sewn goods, digital modeling, and functional product design.
• Technology: Advancing rapid prototyping and digital fabrication methods.

Publications focus on design education innovation, participatory methodologies, and digital tools, with recurring themes of collaborative learning and user-centered solutions across 12 peer-reviewed works (2018–2021).

He teaches courses including Industrial Design Graphics, Industrial Design III, and Industrial Design Technologies II, with office hours four days weekly.
