Dr Adam Eldridge is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster, affiliated with research centres including the Centre for Law, Society and Popular Culture, Centre for Law Gender Race and Sexuality, and Centre for Social Justice Research. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney (Department of Gender and Cultural Studies) and joined Westminster in 2004 as a Research Fellow. His research focuses on the night-time economy, urban renaissance, gender/sexuality in public spaces, and late-night leisure cultures. He has supervised PhDs on topics ranging from gambling and regeneration to post-conflict city branding. Teaching includes modules like 'Identity and Society' and 'Pleasures and Perils,' supported by a PGCert in Learning and Teaching (Goldsmiths).
Research interests emphasize the '24-hour city,' late-night drinking cultures, and spatial politics. He collaborates on projects analyzing urban nightlife through a gendered and socio-spatial lens. Supervision is open to candidates addressing late-night culture, leisure, or urban space dynamics.
