Adam Brown is a Clinical Professor of Psychology at The New School for Social Research, specializing in global mental health and scalable interventions. He leads the New School Center for Global Mental Health and the Global Mental Health graduate minor, focusing on non-specialist-delivered psychosocial interventions. His work emphasizes cross-sector collaboration, trauma resilience, and digital tools for mental health equity.
Education: PhD (2008), MA (2004) from The New School for Social Research; BA (1999) from University of Oregon.
Research Interests: Global mental health systems, implementation science, forced displacement responses, and trauma memory dynamics. He has developed programs like the COAST digital resilience training and led initiatives in Switzerland, Colombia, and NYC. His research bridges clinical psychology with humanitarian needs, emphasizing scalable solutions.
