Abigail Shupe is an Associate Professor of Music Theory at Colorado State University (CSU), affiliated with the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. Her research focuses on American collective memory, music, and war, with a notable book analyzing George Crumb’s works related to the Civil War and Vietnam War.
