Abigail Dennison

Abigail Dennison is a Lecturer in Fashion at the Institute for Collective Place Leadership, Teesside University. She holds a Bachelor's in Fashion Journalism from the University for the Creative Arts (2015) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (PGCLTHE) from Teesside University (2022). Her roles include Fashion Coordinator at the Festival of Thrift since 2019 and Founding Editor of Sunday Girl Magazine since 2015. Her work bridges fashion education, sustainable practices, and community-driven cultural initiatives.

Research interests focus on the intersection of fashion, media, and place-based leadership. She explores how fashion journalism and education can foster sustainable and inclusive cultural practices.
