Abigail Crocker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Vermont, College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. She serves as Director of the Justice Research Center, which anchors the National Center on Restorative Justice – a federally funded collaboration between Vermont Law School, University of Vermont, and University of San Diego.

Her research merges applied statistics with community-engaged approaches to examine intersections of social determinants of health and incarceration. Current work focuses on:

- Opioid use disorder treatment in correctional systems
- Chronic disease management among justice-involved populations
- Econometric evaluation of healthcare payment strategies
- Functional capacity disparities in multimorbid patients
