Abigail Cloud is a Senior Lecturer in the English Department at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), serving as Editor-in-Chief of the nationally distributed literary journal Mid-American Review. She holds an M.F.A. in Poetry from BGSU and a B.A. in English from Michigan State University. Her research focuses on intersections of poetry with the body, dance, Laban's effort principles, and mortality theory.
She teaches courses including ENG 3870, 6330, 3200, and 2040. Her publications include the poetry collection Sylph (2014) and poems in Pleiades, American Poetry Review, and Gargoyle. She also advises the undergraduate literary journal Prairie Margins.
Current work includes a poetry collection titled The Oracle’s Stenographer. Her editorial roles emphasize showcasing creative works from national and international authors.
