معرفی
Abhiram Natu is a Research Fellow at the Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine, Yale University. His research focuses on epigenetic mechanisms in cancer, including chromatin modifications, drug resistance, and tumor microenvironment dynamics. He holds a PhD from the Advanced Centre for Treatment Research Education in Cancer, Epigenetics and Chromatin Biology. His work spans cancer biology, molecular oncology, and pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on histone modifications and their role in therapeutic resistance. Natu is affiliated with the Vaccarino Lab and has contributed to databases like HISTome2, advancing epigenetic research tools.
Research interests include understanding how histone acetylation and chromatin changes influence cancer cell survival and resistance to therapies. He employs integrative approaches combining epigenomics, transcriptomics, and computational biology to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Recent studies explore phytochemicals targeting chromatin modifiers and Raman spectroscopy for chemoresistance analysis.
Publications highlight work on renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and drug resistance mechanisms. His interdisciplinary approach bridges basic science and clinical applications, aiming to translate epigenetic insights into improved cancer treatments.
