Abel Camelo is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Marketing, Operations and General Management Department of ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (IBS). He specializes in project management, logistics, and business process optimization, with expertise in Agile/Waterfall methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, and digital transformation.
Education includes a degree in Industrial Management and Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration from ISCTE, alongside postgraduate studies in Energy, Lean Management, and Business Systems. He is certified by PMI (Project Management Institute) and IEFP as a trainer.
His professional roles include Project Manager, Business Consultant at Infosistema SA, and Managing Director at Angular Consulting Lda. He has organized major events like the IV Luso-Brazilian Meeting (2012) and GIRA 2010. His research focuses on operational efficiency and strategic management.
He received the 2009 Best Student Award in Management and Industrial Engineering at ISCTE. Teaching spans operations management, supply chain, and logistics at undergraduate and master’s levels since 2009.
