Professor Abdullahi Dahir Ahmed is a leading academic in financial planning, wealth management, and financial services at RMIT University. As Head of the Department of Financial Planning and Tax within the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain (College of Business and Law), his research focuses on behavioral finance, governance of financial institutions, capital market development, and the impact of financial technology in developing economies. He is a committee member of the Financial Planning Academic Forum, advancing university-level financial planning programs.
