Dr. Abdullahi Arabo is an Associate Professor of Cyber Science and Network Security at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), affiliated with the Faculty of Environment and Technology and the Department of Computer Science and Creative Technologies. A Fulani from Digil, Nigeria, he has provided strategic leadership in establishing UWE as a Gold NSCS Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Education through initiatives like the MSC Cyber Security program, UWECyber research unit, and UnclockCybber outreach.

Dr. Arabo specializes in cybersecurity research, focusing on malware analysis, ransomware, IoT security, context-aware security, and privacy in ubiquitous computing. His work bridges academic research with industrial collaboration, particularly with EPSRC-funded projects.
