Abdulkadir Arpaci

Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Arpaci is a faculty member at Yeditepe University Faculty of Law. He has held the academic rank of Professor since 2001 and specializes in Civil Law, Property Law, and Contract Law.

• Education: PhD (1984) and undergraduate degree (1975) from Istanbul University Faculty of Law.

His research focuses on condominium ownership, lease agreements, and unjust enrichment, with publications analyzing intersections between Turkish Civil Code and modern legal challenges. He has supervised multiple PhD and Master’s theses on topics like testamentary revocation, joint ownership termination, and consumer protection laws.

Key publications include CREDITOR'S SOLIDARITY AND SOME THOUGHTS ABOUT IT (2004), Problems Regarding the Combination of Rent and Condominium Ownership (2023), and Medeni Kanunu’nun Haksız İnşaat Düzenlemesindeki Haksızlık (2019). These works emphasize property rights, contractual obligations, and legal interpretations.

He has served as the Department Chair of Private Law at Yeditepe University (2005) and is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association. His teaching includes courses on Property Law, Debt Law, and Private Law Applications (2003–2024).
