Abdulhakim Beki, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Work, Uskudar University. Born in 1968, he holds a BSc (1991) and MSc (1994) in Theology and Islamic Sciences from Erciyes University, and a Ph.D. (2008) in Sociology from Sakarya University, focusing on 'Social Municipality Practices in Turkey'.
