Dr Abdul-Majeed Mahamadu is an Associate Professor in Innovative and Industrialised Construction at University College London (UCL) and a Cost Intelligence Consultant. A chartered surveyor (MRICS) and construction manager (MCIOB), he also holds a fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (HEA). His research focuses on applying digital technologies like Building Information Modelling (BIM), Virtual Reality (VR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve construction project efficiency and safety. He leads projects such as Safecrobot (VR safety training) and TIES Living Lab (AI cost data mining).
