Abdellah Chehri is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Laval University (2009) and an M.A.Sc. from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France. His career includes roles at Bell-Aliant Research Laboratory (2007–2009), BLiNQ Networks (2012–2014), and a postdoctoral fellowship under Prof. Hussein T. Mouftah in the WiSense project. He has authored over 70 research papers and book chapters.
Research focuses on wireless networks, smart grid communication, and 4G/LTE technologies. Professional roles include Program Chair of IEEE IHTC 2014, Guest Editor for journals, and membership in IEEE Communications Society and Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ).
- Awards: NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, MITACS.
- Key Experience: Developed dual-carrier algorithms for 4G/LTE backhaul at BLiNQ Networks.
