Dr. Abdallah Yaghi is a University Teacher in Data Science/Analytics at the University of Sheffield's School of Information, Journalism and Communication. He holds a BSc in Information Systems from the University of Central Lancashire (2010) and a PhD in Computing and Data Science from the University of Lincoln (2022), with a thesis focusing on "Native Language Identification through Keystroke Dynamics."
His research spans interdisciplinary fields including AI, machine learning, NLP, cybersecurity, behavioral biometrics, and authorship analysis. He has taught courses such as Digital Media and Society, Practical Programming for Data Science, Information Visualization, Programming, SEO/Website Design, Data Mining, and Big Data Analytics.
Professionally, he is a member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society and has prior experience as a Teaching Assistant and in industrial roles at A & I Tech Ltd and TopWest.
