Abby Keiser is an Adjunct Professor at Lancaster Bible College (LBC) in the Counseling & Social Work department. She holds a full-time position as Director of Family Life Services at COBYS Family Services in Lancaster, PA, where she oversees staff leadership and evidence-based programming. Her work emphasizes dignity, integrity, and compassion in counseling and preventive psychoeducation. Keiser earned a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Millersville University and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and Psychology from Eastern Nazarene College.
Her teaching spans courses like General Psychology, Trauma Counseling, and Critical Incident Stress Management. Keiser actively contributes to community initiatives promoting healthy families and individuals. Beyond academia, she has directed a daycare, served as an Associate Pastor, and maintained a private counseling practice. She is married to Darryl for 35 years, has two adult children, two grandsons, and previously served as a foster parent with COBYS.
