Abbey Eng

Dr. Abbey Eng is an Associate Professor in the College of Public Health at Kent State University. Her research focuses on adolescent and maternal health, including mental health, substance abuse prevention, and HIV risk behaviors. She also leads a grant on maternal-infant health in Northeast Ohio. She teaches biostatistics at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Her work integrates school-based and community programs to address public health challenges. Key areas include juvenile justice interventions and longitudinal studies on adolescent relationships. She has experience with federally and locally funded evaluations in mental health and substance abuse.
