Aarón Serfaty

Aarón Serfaty is a Senior Lecturer in Jazz Studies and Percussion at the University of Southern California (since 1997), California Institute of the Arts (since 2000), and the Los Angeles Music Academy (since 1996). A professional drummer since 1980, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Arturo Sandoval, Sergio Mendes, and Jon Anderson, while maintaining an active role in education and performance clinics globally.

Research and Professional Focus: Serfaty’s expertise lies in jazz percussion, music performance, and pedagogy.
