Aaron Weinschenk

Aaron Weinschenk is the Ben J. and Joyce Rosenberg Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He serves as Director of the Social Sciences and Public Policy domain within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, overseeing programs in criminal justice, environmental policy, political science, and related fields.

His research focuses on political behavior, campaigns, and elections, with a particular emphasis on how psychological traits, biological factors, and social contexts influence political participation. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Political Behavior, Political Research Quarterly, and British Journal of Political Science.

Weinschenk teaches courses in American government, Congress, urban politics, and political science research methods. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and leads the Political Science Research Lab at UWGB.
