Dr Aaron Timoshanko is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Southern Queensland, where he teaches and researches in areas including animal law, corporate governance, legal technology, and human rights. He is also known for his work on the intersection of law and social issues, particularly concerning corporate responsibility and the rights of vulnerable populations.

Dr Timoshanko's research spans a broad range of legal disciplines. His work in animal law includes regulatory frameworks for horse racing and the ethical use of animals in sport. His human rights research focuses on the rights of LGBT children and children with same-sex parents, particularly in the context of UN treaty body oversight.
