Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith, MD is a Second Year Rheumatology Fellow at the UNC School of Medicine, affiliated with the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology within the Department of Medicine. He is currently training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Smith focuses on improving care for older adults with rheumatic diseases and conducting vasculitis research. His clinical training includes rheumatology fellowship work at UNC, a leading medical institution.

In his personal time, he enjoys family activities, swimming, reading, soccer, frisbee golf, and college football.
