Aaron Schab is a Senior Lecturer in the English Department at the University of Idaho, affiliated with the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences. He joined the department in January 2008 after working as an editor for a Seattle-based print/online media company. His educational background includes a B.A. in English (Creative Writing emphasis, 1999) and an M.A. in English (Literature emphasis, 2006), both from the University of Idaho.
His teaching focuses on professional writing, introductory literature, and dual credit certification. Key areas of instruction include technical writing (English 317), business writing (English 313), and courses on persuasive writing (English 207) and introductory literature (English 257/258). He also contributes to online curriculum development and dual enrollment programs.
Outside academia, Schab maintains a connection to his rural roots through gardening and remains active in the literary community through course design and professional development initiatives.
