Aaron Roman, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA, is a tenure-track faculty member at Salus University's Osborne College of Audiology since July 2022. He teaches courses on auditory processing and labs on auditory brainstem response measurement while working as a clinician at the Pennsylvania Ear Institute (PEI), specializing in auditory processing disorders. His research explores the intersection of hearing loss with cognitive impairment, aging, and second language learning, emphasizing standardization in cognition and hearing loss studies.
- Education: PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh; AuD from the same institution.
Research Focus:Dr. Roman combines data analytics with audiology, studying newborn hearing screening trends using CDC datasets and advocating for standardized methodologies in hearing loss and cognitive decline research.
