Aaron P. Knape

Aaron P. Knape is a full-time faculty member at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in the College of Business Administration, serving as an Instructor in the Accounting department. He teaches courses such as Principles of Financial Accounting, Advanced Taxation, Governmental/Nonprofit Accounting, and Accounting Decision Making to MBA students. He holds a BS in Accounting (2005) from UNO, an MBA in Business Administration from Creighton University (2009), and a JD in Law and Business from Creighton University School of Law (2022).

Knape is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (2009–2024) and attorney in Nebraska. His research interests include financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and law. Professionally, he serves as the Engagement Committee Chair on UNO's Faculty Senate. Prior to joining UNO, he taught at Peru State College and worked as a CPA. He is married to Annie and enjoys golfing, bowling, and playing the trumpet.
