Aaron Kaufman

Aaron Kaufman is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at New York University Abu Dhabi and a Global Network Assistant Professor at NYU Faculty of Arts and Science. He is affiliated with the Department of Politics and the Center for Data Science at NYU, as well as the Center for Social Media and Politics (CSMaP) and the Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS) at Harvard University.

His research lies at the intersection of political science and data science, focusing on computational methods to study public opinion, voting patterns, and elite political behavior. He develops open-source tools to improve survey research efficiency and reduce bias, advocating strongly for research transparency and reproducibility.
