Aaron Farnsworth is a Lecturer at the United States Military Academy's Simon Center for the Professional Military Ethic, where he teaches MX400 Officership – The Superintendent’s Capstone Course. A decorated military veteran with extensive operational experience, he combines his academic background in Chemistry and Applied Social Psychology with frontline expertise from deployments supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Spartan Shield.
- B.S. in Chemistry from Ball State University
- M.A. in Applied Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University
His research and teaching focus on professional military ethics, leadership development, and the application of social psychology to military training contexts. Major areas of interest include strategic studies, combat readiness, and institutional military education frameworks.
His distinguished service has been recognized through numerous military decorations, including:

Major Farnsworth previously served in the U.S. Army's 3rd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, and 4th Infantry Division with roles spanning from Carl Gustaf gunner to Battalion S-2 intelligence officer. He currently resides in West Point, NY with his family.
