Aali R Alizadeh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ottawa. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from the University of Tehran. His academic and industrial work focuses on advanced concrete materials and smart construction technologies.

Dr. Alizadeh's research centers on the nanostructure and engineering properties of hydrated cement systems, application of nanomaterials for sustainable concrete, durability in aggressive environments, non-destructive testing for quality control, and smart concrete sensors integrated with IoT. His interdisciplinary work bridges materials science and construction engineering.
