Aaleks Kasemi is a PhD researcher and teaching assistant at KU Leuven’s Media Culture & Policy Lab (Department of Communication Science). His doctoral research focuses on sports betting behavior among Flemish adolescents (15–25 years), employing mixed methods (qualitative interviews and longitudinal studies) under the Reasoned Action Approach framework to enhance youth awareness and intervention tools. He assists professors Bieke Zaman and Rozane De Cock in courses like qualitative research methods and progressive methodologies.
