Dr. Aslı Erkal Aytemur is a Lecturer at the Department of Fundamental Engineering Sciences in the Rafet Kayış Faculty of Engineering at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University. Her research focuses on Analytical Chemistry, Nanotechnology, and Electrochemistry, with emphasis on electrochemical sensors, nanomaterials, and environmental analysis. She holds a Doctorate in Chemistry from Necmettin Erbakan University and a Master's degree from Dumlupınar University. Her academic career includes positions at Dumlupınar University and Necmettin Erbakan University.
Her research interests encompass the development of novel biosensors, voltammetric techniques, and nanomaterial-based electrodes for detecting biomolecules and heavy metals. Key areas include aptasensor technology, surface plasmon resonance, ellipsometry, and graphene oxide applications. Recent work includes the detection of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) using SPRe-TIRE and quartz crystal microbalance platforms, as well as studies on folic acid and dopamine analysis.
Dr. Aytemur has published extensively in SCI-indexed journals, including Instrumentation Science & Technology, Talanta, and Chemical Papers. Her research has been supported by TÜBİTAK projects focused on aptamer-based biosensors and electrocatalytic nanomaterials. She is actively involved in international conferences and has contributed to projects on nanocomposite materials for environmental and biomedical applications.
Her academic training includes a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Dumlupınar University (2013), an M.Sc. from Dumlupınar University (2015), and a Ph.D. from Necmettin Erbakan University (2020). She has also completed certifications in advanced analytical techniques such as XRF, XRD, and AFM device usage.
