ANA FILIPA GORDINO BEATO

Dr. Ana Filipa Gordino Beato is a Professor at the School of Psychology and Life Sciences, Lusófona University of Lisbon. With a PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology, she works as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Lisbon's Community Service and PIN Development Center, while also maintaining private practice. Her research focuses on childhood anxiety, mental health stigma, and sexual health.

Current research spans mental health stigma analysis, emotion-focused parenting programs (TIK-PT project), and immersive technology applications for autism (Autismo 360º project). She leads the EMSEX Erasmus Mundus project in Human Sexology and contributes to international collaborations with Malmö University and Creative Europe. Her work appears in Sexuality and Disability, Midwifery, and Clinica y Salud.
