ALLERA MERCADILLO Alejandro

Alejandro Allera Mercadillo is an Assistant Professor at Montpellier Business School, specializing in Operations, Information, & Decisions. With over 20 years of experience across private, public, and academic sectors, he focuses on International Business, Sustainability, and Leadership. He previously held director roles in master’s and bachelor’s programs in International Business at TEC de Monterrey.

Education: Two master’s degrees (Politics & Public Management, Enterprise Economy) and a business administration degree (Marketing). Holds specialized diplomas in Finance, International Trade Policy, and Sustainability. Extensive coursework in International Business Strategy and Supply Chain Management.

Research interests include Supply Chain Sustainability, Sustainable Entrepreneurship, and cross-sector collaboration. His recent work explores innovative economic systems and case studies on global trade dynamics. Prior public sector roles include leadership at Jalisco’s Foreign Trade Institute and the American Chamber of Commerce.

Teaching disciplines cover International Strategy, Logistics, and Sustainable Supply Chains. Active as a business consultant since 2008, supporting SMEs in global market entry and strategic planning.
